For the purpose of borrowing convocation attire, you have to:
Return the ORIGINAL certificate temporarily when taking the robe and take the certificate back once the robe is returned in good condition (You are strongly advised not to appoint a representative for the return of the original certificate),

1. Free from any debt with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia
2. Paid the graduation fee
1. 64-67th Convocation Graduand : Apply via iConvo Portal
2. 63rd Convocation and below : Manual Application Click Here
Graduation fee (compulsory):
PHD – RM250
Master Degree – RM250
Bachelor Degree – RM220
Diploma – RM200
Within 5 working days after approval (exclude courier processing & delivery duration)

4. UTM album cover (If not attend the convo)
INCOMING CONVOCATION (68TH CONVOCATION)
1. Received the Senate Letter
2. Free from any debt with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia
3. Complete Tracer Study survey (requirement by Ministry of Education)
4. Paid the graduation fee during the application

By Self-Collect
Applicants will self-collect the certificate at AMaCS Counter by appointment.
By Representative
The certificate will be collect by representative at AMaCS Counter by appointment.
By Courier
The certificate will sent by courier services.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an Certificate Application?
Certificate Application is a service offered by Academic Management and Conferment Section (AMaCS), Department of Registrar to assist graduands to attain the certificate before or after the convocation ceremony.
Who is eligible?
All local and international graduands, Full-Time and Part-Time students:
PhD, Master Degree & Bachelor Degree only.
Who is encourage to apply?
1. International graduands that will return back to their countries and will not attend the Convocation Ceremony.
2. Graduands that need urgently for working purpose (employers’ requirements)
How to apply?
Via iconvo.utm.my only.
How long should I wait?
Waiting time :
1) Self collect / Representative – Five (5) working days from the date of Approval.
2) Courier – Five (5) working days + Courier company processing period.
What is the fees of applying the early certificate?
Fees for applying the early certificate are as follows :
a. Postgraduate Graduands : RM250.00
b. Bachelor Degree’s Graduands : RM220.00
Fulfilling this fees, graduands will received :
a. Official certificate and transcript;
b. Certificate folder (when attend Convocation Ceremony);
c. Robe for photo session (refer to the question “Can I Borrow/Rent the Convocation Attire?”).
Can I Borrow/RENT the Convocation Attire?
Yes. Each Graduates can borrow the complete set of convocation attire for 5 WORKING DAYS.
Am I invited to the Convocation Ceremony after collecting my early certificate?
Yes. All graduands are invited to the Convocation Ceremony.
